Two things Tuesday.

Today, Tuesday, I have two things I wanna talk about.

Number one:
I love making people smile. I love listening to people talk. I love helping people when they just need someone there. I guess you could say it's one of my passions in life to be there for people.
I just want YOU to know that I'm here for you. Need someone to talk to? Lets grab coffee, take a walk, or heck, call me. I just don't think that there should ever be a single people out in the world who doesn't have someone to talk to. Bottle up emotions is bad and can only get worse.

Number two:
Starting on Monday, I am starting a diet/exercise self-motivated thing next week. I'm suppose to be in the best shape of my life in my late teenage years through my twenties and I'm not happy with where I'm at. So don't any of you dare call me up and say, lets go grab some dessert at blah blah blah because I will be sorely tempted to say yes.

Anyways, have a fabulous day and enjoy the snow : )

I'm spoiled.

Well, today is Valentines Day. And I want to admit something.
I'm spoiled.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that Cody treats me like every day is Valentines day. To quote Cody, "Valentines Day gives lazy guys an excuse to be cute and for their girlfriends to go "awww how sweet!" when in reality a guy should treat a girl like every day is Valentines day! If you need a holiday to show someone you love them, you dont deserve it. I have no objections with people doing really special stuff, but it this is the only day of the year you buy flowers or act reall sweet and loveable why bother? Your not being real or truthful, your acting"
Cody lives by these words.
Like I said I'm spoiled.

So Cody and I did Valentines Day on Friday. I went over and made him dinner. He made me dessert. We went dancing. It was fabulous : )
On Saturday he brought me flowers : ) GERBER DAISIES! They're my favorite flowers. I want to use them in my wedding : )
I woke up this morning though to a text saying, "Go out to your garage when you wake up!" I got up and ran downstairs. There was a bag with a letter. I read the letter, and opened the bag. Inside the bad was the cutest porcupine stuffed animal. He's now up on my bed with all the other stuffed animals Cody has gotten for me over the past 14 months.
Well, today I have class until 8:45.
Tonight after my class I'm going over to his house and we're doing a sheetz run and hanging out : )
Now that's MY idea of a fun time : )

I love you Cody!

Wedding details : )

Last Wednesday was the 16 months mark in the countdown until the wedding!
I couldn't think of any new fresh ideas as of late. So I switched gears and thought about things that I love. I figured once I had a list of things I loved, I could figure out how to incorporate those things into the wedding.
Here's my list.

1. Cody!
2. Buttons!
3. Shiny things
4. Ribbons
5. Cupcakes
6. Balloons
7. Bright colors

Okay, so here is a small list of things I love. Now here are my ideas.

1. Yeah, I might wanna include him in the wedding somehow : p
2. I got the idea that I could make my own placement cards for at the reception and use buttons to make them cute. Well, then I thought about having to cut out little rectangles and how un-fun that would be. Here's where ANOTHER idea hit me. I can order Vistaprint.com business cards (fairly cheap and good) and then I'll have the shape taken care of without countless hours of measuring and cutting. When I order the bussiness cards, all I'm going to do is have a line about 1/3 of the way down from the top (where I can then write the name of whoever's place card is there) And then about 2/3of the way down, I can write Table # ___. When I get these cards, and all the RSVPS are in, I can write the name of the people on these cards, their table number, and glue a button on it! Tada! Really cheap placement cars with BUTTONS!
3 and 4. I love shiny things. I love ribbon. SHINY RIBBON!!! The place I am having the reception doesn't allow alcohol (which I am very happy with). But I still want people to be able to toast with something besides water/soda. So here's my thought. Every table gets a bottle of sparkling cider and I'll tie a shiny ribbon around it! Also, I can make this the center piece. Center pieces are usually extremely expensive. Well, mine would cost about $5 a pop! I could, if I wanted, to put toasting classes around the sparking sider in the middle of the table and tie each one with the ribbon as well. Center piece: Check.
5. I love cupcakes. I might use a lot of cupcakes instead of a cake. How cute and dainty would that be?!
6. BALLOONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea what I want to do with these, but one thing I thought of was having my bridesmaids carry balloons. 60per bouquet gets turned into $5 for a bridesmaids balloons. I think this would just make it sorta whimsical and fun.
7. Bright colors really make me happy. My colors are pink and silver. If I decide to do flowers (which I probably will) I don't just want pink flowers, I want multicolored flowers!

And here's another idea about flowers. While the steelers were losing horrible in the super bowl, I got online and was looking up wedding flowers. I learned how to make paper flowers! It's actually really easy, and it would be so cheap. It's also something I can start NOW : ) Once I learned how to make paper roses, I found a website on how to make a bouquet out of paper roses. So. Awesome. Here are some directions I got on a website on how to make paper roses

And look, put the flowers on a toothpick and then into a Styrofoam ball!

Tada!!!

Have a great week!
